About Skimling

Skimling was founded in November, 2011 by Jack Kaufman, who had the beliefs that no student wants to do poorly in school, and that teachers could help students hone their writing skills and improve their essays through helpful feedback. As a student himself, and after seeing lots of kids in his history class do poorly on a particular essay, he realized that there had to be a better way to increase the odds of doing well in school. Thus Skimling was born. Skimling now connects students who want to have their essays graded and marked for feedback with teachers who can help them! For only $12 an essay, the value is tremendous!
